After many hours of travel on roads battered roads calling and browsing the Tambo River we Atalaya. The image recalls one of this city are a set of wooden houses stacked together without any order growing along the shore mingling with mud and dust from the port and the road leading to the center of urban life. We spent a few days, knowing its people and the university campus project Nopoki. In
Nopoki our NGO working in the construction of a shelter for young indigenous communities engaged in university studies to improve and promote the development of the native peoples of the environment. We visited the whole university, their classrooms and begin to used, workshops, agricultural fields, built shelters and those yet to finish. The construction of this campus is a dream that through the work of many is becoming a reality.
coincide with our visit, the town was preparing to celebrate their national holidays. On 28 July marks the independence of the Peruvian nation and for that purpose streets are filled with parades, music and an endless of events in which all the people involved.
